WHAT YOU'LL DO - Greet every guest within 10 seconds — smile, eye contact, door held open when you can - Ask every table "Is this your first time with us?" and flag first-timers to the manager on duty right away - Welcome regulars by name and reference their last visit — no one's a stranger here - Read the table and seat with intention: elderly guests near the entrance, families offered a booster or high chair, couples somewhere a little more private, big groups where your servers have room to work - Introduce the server by name — "Joey B.'s got you tonight" - Recommend the Fried Spaghetti while guests settle in, and ask dine-in and to-go guests if they're a rewards member - Own the floor plan and rotation order, the waitlist, and today's real wait time — you'll know it before anyone asks - Answer the phone within 2 rings with our full greeting, and log rewards status on to-go orders - Reset tables fast and right after guests leave, keep the host stand stocked and the entryway spotless, and check that the music and lighting match the vibe - If a guest's upset — empathize first, apologize, and get a manager immediately.
